The Government of India has made a big announcement before the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter and founder of Azad Hind Fauj. According to the news agency ANI, it has been decided to celebrate Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birthday as a might day on January 23 every year. The Ministry of Culture has informed about this. Significantly, the Central Government has decided to celebrate Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary in an even more grand manner. It can also be gauged from this that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is heading the high level committee set up about it.
The statement of CK Bose, the great-grandson of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, has come. He said that India became independent due to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. For many years the people of India have been celebrating Netaji’s birthday as Desh Prem Diwas. We are happy with this announcement, but it would have been more appropriate if the Indian government had declared January 23 as the country’s love day.
The 85-member committee includes Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Chief Ministers of several states, Union ministers along with senior leaders of opposition and members of Netaji’s family. Netaji’s programs will begin on January 23, his birth anniversary. Programs will be organized throughout the year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin the 125th birth anniversary celebrations of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose from the historic Victoria Memorial Hall in Kolkata on 23 January.
The Ministry of Culture recently issued a notification for the formation of a high-level committee to organize the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji. Apart from politicians, it also includes eminent people associated with Azad Hind Fauj, including writers, historians. Prominent names among them include Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose INA Trust Chairman, Brigadier RS Chikara, historian and writer Purbi Rai, former captain of the Indian Kikrate team, Sourav Ganguly, music composer AR Rahman, actor Mithun Chakraborty, actress Kajol etc.
Netaji’s family members include his daughter Anita Bose, nephew Ardhendu Bose, great-grandson Chand Kumar Bose etc. Programs related to Netaji’s memories will be organized in Kolkata, Delhi, including Netaji and other places of the country and abroad associated with the Azad Hines Army. This is not the first time of the Central Government to show respect to Netaji. Earlier, she has also celebrated the 75th Foundation Day of Azad Hins Army, in which the Prime Minister herself was involved. Along with this, the central government had also made confidential files related to Netaji public, which had been demanded from his fans and family for a long time. However, it is more important in terms of assembly elections to be held in Bengal in March-April this year, where BJP is putting all its emphasis.
